Kari Matchett Biography

 Kari Mixett is an Canadian actress who is famous for her roles on films such as Apartment Hunting, â€Men with Brooms, and ’The Tree of Life. She was born in Spalding and graduated from the high school in Alberta. As a teenager, she became interested in acting. She attended the National Theatre School' in Montreal. Later, she went to the Moscow Theatre School. In 1996, she was in a supporting role on the Canadian show 'The Rez. She was a part of shows like 'Forever Knight' "Ready or Not?" and many others in the in the same year. In the latter part of 1990, she made her film debut with the movie titled Papertrail'. She later was in films like"Men with Brooms" or 'Cypher. She also played supporting roles on series' such as 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery,' and Blue Murder. The actress continued to appear in films throughout the early 2000s, however her film appearances were much less than her TV roles. She was also the main actress in the 1998 Canadian drama series called 'Power Play. The series was a total of 26 episodes, and earned both commercial and critical praise. In recognition of her role in the show she was nominated for the Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett was born to her in June of 2013. She did not reveal the name or father of her son. According to some sources the father of her son was her ex-boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke began dating Kari Matchett around the mid-1990s. They were married in the month of October 1998. However, the marriage was not long-lasting and the couple split in the year 2006.
