Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born December 10, 1987) is a American journalist and sports presenter. She works as a reporter at Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie began her interest in racing in stock cars when she was given a pit-lane entry. After graduation, she attended Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. When SceneDaily published her self-made blogs about NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on 10 December, 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was raised in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved to Warrenton to start Vincie's high school. She is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret, and has one older sister. Vincie's mother, Eleanor N. Logan, was a fifth-grade teacher as well as her grandfather who was a professor of Bridgewater College. Vincie was fascinated by journalism from an early age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School, in 2006. She participated in track and field events, and also worked as a director for the school's wrestling team for four years. Vincie was the winner of the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also provided lots of information. She received a bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern in the university's athletics department, and was also employed with the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie wrote her senior thesis about auto racing gender disparity that focused on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She began to become interested in the sport after receiving an access pass to pit lane for the NASCAR All-Star Race. She mentions Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
