 Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. Georgia native, he started his career in hip-hop through Playaz Circle, which he created with a high school friend. Their first album, 'Supply and Demand was a modest success. Epps later released "Based on the T.R.U." Story', his debut studio album. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. It was a great commercial success. Within its first week of release, it sold 147,000 copies! Since the release of the album, there has been no stopping his career and he has risen to become one of the finest rappers in the US. He has been honored with six Grammy awards and won one for his song "No Problem". When he was discovered to be in possession of marijuana and promethazine and was arrested on board a plane leaving Los Angeles International Airport in 2013. However, his run-in with the law hasn't impacted his popularity. His fourth and latest studio album , 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' was released in June 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story', 2 Chainz's debut studio album can be considered as his debut major album and his biggest success. The album was a huge success. It reached the top of the US Billboard 200 and sold 147,000 copies in just a week. The album sold 623,000 copies in a year. It was nominated for the Grammy Award in the category of Best Rap Album' at the 55th Grammy Awards. Most reviews were positive. 2 Chainz married Kesha Warren in the year 2013. The couple have three kids, Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. Despite a successful professional career, he is also known for his controversies with the law. He has been detained several times for possession of drugs.
