Rena Sherel SOFER

Rena Sherel Sfer is an American actor from America. She is well-known for her appearances on American daytime TV, guests on shows that are episodic and made-for-television films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General Hospital. She has been acting as Quinn Fuller since 2013 on CBS The Bold and the Beautiful, a soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful. Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) to Susan Sofer and Martin Sofer. Martin Sofer is a Conservative Rabbi. Her family subsequently moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until the time of divorce from her parents,[citation requiredshe emigrated with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. They resided in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue's rabbi Temple Beth El. After finishing her studies at North Bergen High School in 1998, she pursued her education at Montclair State College. Sofer initially appeared as Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. In 1993, she was the manager of the band. But her first big part was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the daytime soap opera Loving (1988-91). Sofer is most likely best known for her role as Lois Cerullo on General Hospital (December 15 1993 - September 24, 1996). Later, she was in guest appearance on the show (February 7-17 1997 from September 30th through October 2nd , 1997). Her portrayal of the outrageous Lois received Sofer a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series. In May 2013, it was announced that Sofer would join the CBS soap series The Bold and the Beautiful and play the newly-created role as Quinn Fuller; her first episode aired on July 12. Sofer has appeared in several prominent prime-time TV shows as a guest-star or supporting cast member rolesincluding Seinfeld, Melrose Place, The Chronicle, Ed, Friends, Spin City, Blind Justice, Ghost Whisperer, 24, NCIS, and Two and a Half Men.
