Natalie dormer

 

Natalie Dormer, born 11 February 1982, is an English actress from England. Her achievements include winning an Empire Award, and receiving nominations for the Critics' Choice Awards, two Gemini Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire. She gained notoriety in the role of Anne Boleyn, a role she played on the Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which received acclaim from the public. Her stage debut was in the play Sweet Nothings (2010) and played the Duchess of York in Madonna's movie W.E. (2011) as well as Private Lorraine in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). Her performance in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic was praised. Dormer received international praise and interest for her roles as Margaery Tyrell (2012-2016 on HBO) and Cressida (2014-2015 on The Hunger Games), that are among her most watched films. She has also portrayed Irene Adler/Moriarty on the CBS series Elementary (2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016) and also voiced Onica in the TV series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). She was awarded acclaim for her leading role in the miniseries Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020). Dormer was born on 11 February 1982 in Reading, Berkshire (England) as the daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire Richards. She is also the sister of Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
